PURPOSE:To improve the photographic characteristics such as the sensitivity, the fogging and the graininess, etc., at the time of rapidly processing by controlling the amount of a gelatin contd. in a hydrophilic colloidal layer comprising a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer to a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsions having substantially >=two kinds of differ ent photographic characteristics respectively are contd. in at least one surface of a supporting body. And, the amount of the gelatin contg. in the hydrophilic colloidal layer comprising the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is in a range of 2.00-3.50g/m<2>. In case of the photosensitive emulsion layer being provided on only one surface of the supporting body, the amount of the gelatin mounted on said surface of the supporting body is necessary to be in said range. In case of said emulsion layer being provided on the both surfaces of the supporting body, each amount of the gelatin mounted on the both surfaces of the supporting body is necessary to be in said range, respectively. thus, for example, even in case of the super-rapid processing in which, for example, the total processing time is from >=20sec to <60sec, the troubles caused by insufficient gelatin concn. and insufficient fixing can be dissolved, and the titled material having the excellent sensitivity and the graininess, etc., is obtd. |
