<p>PURPOSE:To improve the estimation value accuracy and to perform control having a short setting time by obtaining an estimated tension deviation value by use of measured values of a thermometer and a dimension meter and performing tension control by an optimum regulator theory based on the estimated value for differentiation of a rolling torque equation. CONSTITUTION:The number of roll rotations, a roll gap, a rolling load, a rolling torque, a measured height and a measured width values in the outlet side by a dimension meter 5, an measured inlet side material temp. by a thermometer 8, and an inlet side height and width by a dimension meter 9 are inputted into a control computer 6 of a four-stand mill; an estimated value in tension deviation is found by differentiation of a rolling torque equation. An input u(k) of an optimum control by use of the above estimated value by a prescribed equation based on an optimum regulator theory, a roll gap setting value and a setting value of the number of rotations are calculated to perform tension control. Thus, the estimated tension value accuracy is improved and the control having a short setting time and zero offset is performed.</p> |
