PURPOSE:To form an A-B-Cu-O system superconductor of an homoyeneous crystalline structure in the continued condition along the whole parts of a superconductive wire material and to form a long size wire material with an homoyeneous and excellent superconductive property by forming a copper oxide film and a mixture material layer in this order on a base material of pure copper, and applying a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:An oxidation process is applied to a base material 1 of pure copper formed in a line, tube, or tape form, and a copper oxide film 2 is formed over the surface. Then, on the surface of the copper oxide film 2, a mixture material layer 3 of a mixture including an yttrium compound powder and a barium compound powder is formed. After than, a heat treatment is applied to the base material formed with the copper oxide film 2 and the mixture material layer 3. By this heat treatment, elements included in the copper oxide film 2 and the mixture material layer 3 are diffused each other, and a superconductor layer 4 including a Y-Ba-Cu-O system superconductor is produced in the parts of the copper oxide film 2 and the mixture material layer 3 in the continued condition along the whole base material 1. Consequently, the adhesion of the superconductor 4 and the base material 1 is acquired in a good condition, the base material 1 can reinforce the Y-Ba-Cu-O system superconductor, and a superconductive wire material 3 of a high mechanical strength can be formed. |
