Milbemycin (avermectin) derivs. of formula (I) are new: R1=H or a protecting gps; R2=methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or sec-butyl; R=oxacycloalkyl which is opt. further substd. and which opt. contains an endocyclic double bond. USE - Pesticides, especially insecticides and acaricides, suitable for use against ecto-and endoparasites in animals, as well as in plant protection and in the hygiene sector. (I) an also active against plant nematodes and particularily against helminths, including endoparasitic nematodes.
