A grating (underfloor grating) of plastics consists of longitudinal and transverse, on-edge ribs, connected together and connected to a top plate. The lower edges of the ribs comprises recesses for pipes and cables to pass through the gratings. The ends and sides of each grating panel carry one or more clamps pref. integrally formed with the panel, for engaging with the adjacent grating panel. Pref. material for the grating is electrically conducting polyethylene.
