PURPOSE:To reduce the number of signal lines to panels by dividing light emitting elements arranged two-dimensionally on the panels into plural groups and providing a light emitting element driving circuit to drive the light emitting elements of the respective groups, latch circuit and a shift register for the respective groups. CONSTITUTION:Many light emitting elements 14, 14... are arranged on one edge face of each box body 1 of respective unit panels P1, P2,... Pn and a driving circuit 15 of the light emitting elements 14, 14..., a latch circuit 16 and a shift register 17 are provided in the box body 1. Thus, the number of the signal lines to the panels can be reduced, the mode of connection becomes simple, energy loss because of the rigidity of a cable at the time of bending becomes small and the constitution of an exciting device becomes simple. |
