PURPOSE:To select the size of a copying form automatically according to the size of an original by providing a means which selects the form according to the original and specified form data and a means which selects matching magnification between the selected form and original. CONSTITUTION:This copying machine has a main body control part 30, an operation part 31, an optical control part 32, an original detection part 33, a scanner motor 34, a variable magnification motor 35, a storage part 36, various sensors 37, etc. Form size, a set quantity, magnification, etc., are inputted to a main body control part 30 through a key input part and an optical control part 32 drives the motor for moving lens movement (variable magnification) of a scanner, converts a signal inputted from an original detection part 33 into length data, and outputs it to the main body control part 30, which is operated according to a program stored in the storage part 36 to repeat input/ output operation. Consequently, the size of the form is selected and matching magnification is selected to take a copy. |
