发明名称 METHOD FOR CHEMICAL FORMATION OF VACUUM INTERRUPTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To have uniform chemical formation even with a greater electrode dia. by starting electrode opening of a vacuum interrupter for chemical formation in the condition that a DC current is supplied in the degree not cutting the arc, and then supplying AC current so that the amperage peaks when the vacuum interrupting is fully opened. CONSTITUTION:A switch SW1 is opened and another SW2 closed to supply DC current to a vacuum interrupter 3. The DC current shall be in a magnitude not cutting the arc generated by electrode opening of the vacuum interrupter 3. Then the vacuum interrupter 3 is opened. Again the SW1 is closed while an aux. vacuum interrupter 2 is closed, and the SW2 is opened a little delayed. Thus an AC current flows in this circuit, wherein the vacuum interrupter 3 shall be full open at the peak time of this AC current. Thereby the electrodes are opened to a great extent at the peak time of chemical formation current. Thus the arc disperses uniformly over the whole electrode surface.
