The feeding station comprises two access corridors 1 and 2, two entry doors 7a, 7b and 9a, 9b, a single trough 3, placed in front of the corridors, and an access control system comprising a gate 11 between the corridors 1 and 2 and the trough 3, and a means for selective locking of the entry doors. The gate 11 has a resting position in which it partially bars the access to the trough 3 for the two corridors 1 and 2, and two working positions, one completely opening access to the trough 3 for one corridor 1 or 2 and completely barring access to the trough 3 for the other corridor 2 or 1, and vice versa. The selective locking means closes the entry door 7a, 7b or 9a, 9b of the corridor 1 or 2 which has access to the trough when the gate 11 is in the corresponding working position, and holds the entry door 9a, 9b or 7a, 7b of the other corridor 2 or 1 open. It opens both entry doors when the gate 11 is in the resting position. <IMAGE>
