PURPOSE:To specify data transfer between a host and a guest only by one instruction and to improve the forming efficiency of software by providing the titled computer with a data transfer instruction processing mechanism for processing a data transfer instruction between the host and guest by means of hardware. CONSTITUTION:In case of transferring data from the host to the guest, the logical address of MOVE TO GUEST instruction is converted into a guest real address by a guest address converting mechanism 211, the real address is converted into a guest absolute address by a prefixing conversion mechanism 212, an address base is added to the absolute address to form a host logical address, and the address is converted into a system absolute address by a host dynamic conversion mechanism 213 and a prefixing conversion mechanism 214 and set up in a register 251. The host logical address of the same instruction is converted into a system absolute address by the mechanisms 213, 214 and set up in a register 252. The data concerned in a main storage is fetched by the address of the register 252 and stored in a specified address in the register 251. |
