<p>PURPOSE:To clean up the bottom of the sea or river by a method in which electric current is applied to sea water or river water in a magnetic field formed between superconductive coils to generate water current and sludge, etc., on the bottom under water is removed away by the force of the water flow. CONSTITUTION:A concrete flow rate accelerator 1 having a closed structure of storage tank 11a to be floated or sunk and a hollow 13 is set on the seabed WG by introducing sea water by a pump P into the tank 11a. A magnetic field is formed by superconductive coils 2 set on the wall face of the hollow 13, and electric current is applied to sea water between electrodes 3 to generate water current by which unnecessary matter such as sludge on the seabed near the follow 13 is removed. After the operation is ended, sea water in the tank 11a is discharged by the pump P to float up the accelerator 1 and carry same to the next operating position for operation.</p> |
