PURPOSE:To stabilize various characteristics by forming an electric charge generating layer by the dip coating method and regulating the film thickness ratio of a charge transfer layer before and after coating this layer with the charge generating layer in the specified range to satisfy a specified relationship. CONSTITUTION:The following relational expressions are satisfied: D=kd and 0.95<k<1, where the film thicknesses of the charge transfer layer before and after coating this layer with the charge generating layer are expressed as d and D, and when these relationships are satisfied, an amount of a charge transfer material to be eluted from the charge transfer layer into the charge generating layer is restricted in the prescribed range, thus permitting various characteristics of the photosensitive body not to be changed, and the difference in electrophotographic characteristics between the upper side and the lower side of the a drum not to appear and the stable positively chargeable organic laminate type photosensitive body to be obtained. |
