A post card 10 bearing confidential information is covered by an adhesive material 12. The adhesive material comprises base material 14, an optional adhesion suppressing layer 16, a heat adherent resin layer 18 and adhesion retarding layer 20. The layer 18 may be of EVA copolymer and may further include tackifiers. Base material 14 may be of cellophane (RTM), polyester, polyethylene or aluminium foil. Many polymers suitable for forming layer 18 are specified. The adhesion retarding layer may be applied as a UV curable layer, eg of monofunctional arcylates. <IMAGE>
