PURPOSE:To control the thickness of a film to a predetermined value by compensating a die in which many operating ends are disposed in the lateral direction of a molded product against a disturbance introduced to one operating end and adjacent operating end and applying a fundamental control system having a state predicting function and good adaptability. CONSTITUTION:A thickness gauge outputs the thickness data of a molded product in a time series manner and a timing signal. The output of a thickness data memory and the timing signal output are input to a converter, which sequentially outputs input thickness data set to a fundamental control system. Further, it calculates an operating amount command value for a plurality of adjacent operating ends including a predetermined operating end. Subsequently, the output of each command value memory and the timing signal output of the gauge are input to a superposing adder. The adder adds by superposing the operating amount command values of the respective control systems corresponding to the respective operating ends. An operating amount memory stores the command values by the time length being wastefully spent in the gauge in the retrospect. Thus, the thickness of the whole width of the product can be stably controlled. |
