PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a phthalocyanine having a specific structure, giving a thin film exhibiting balanced high absorption and reflection in near infrared region, having excellent solubility and suitable as an optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of >=2 kinds of phthalocyanine compounds constructed of a group of phthalocyanine compounds P0-P4 of formula I [M is metal (oxide), etc.; L1-L4 are B0 of formula II, BX of formula III (X1-X4 are H, halogen, alkyl, etc.), etc.] (P0 is phthalocyanine compound wherein all L1-L4 are composed of B0; P1 is a compound wherein 3 of L1-L4 are B0 and the remaining one is BX; P2 is a compound wherein two of L1-L4 are B0 and the other two are BX; P3 is a compound wherein one of L1-L4 is B0 and the other three are BX; P4 is a compound wherein all of L1-L4 are BX). The composition should contain at least one of P1, P2 or P3. |
