PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity in heavy torque operation, by connecting a stepdown transformer between an inverter device and a driving induction motor in heavy torque operation and by correcting the vector deviation between the exciting current components and torque current components of output current. CONSTITUTION:The output of a three-phase power source 1 is supplied to an induction motor 8 through a converter 3 and an inverter 5. In heavy torque operation such as in testing, etc. an emergency stopper of an elevator, a stepdown transformer 7 is connected between the inverter 5 and the induction motor 8, while the vector deviation between the exciting current components and torque current components of output current to be changed by the stepdown transformer 7 is corrected through a vector control circuit 28. |
