<p>PURPOSE:To uniformly illuminate the whole front grill by providing an inner lens having a step reflection structure in the rear of a front panel and forwardly reflecting an outer light while transmitting the light of a housed light source. CONSTITUTION:When the captioned device is applied to an illuminating device 3 provided between the right and left head lamps of an automobile, a front panel 6 made of a transparent synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin, etc. is placed in front of a supporting frame 4. And, a printed layer 12 by means of screen printing, etc. is deposited in the center part on the back of the panel 6 to form an appropriate indicating part 10 for an automobile name, etc., while forming a step pattern consisting of a number of recessed grooves over the whole back face. Also, a light introducing plate 15 made of a transparent synthetic resin is fixed to the front face of the supporting frame 4 while providing a light source L in the center part thereof, and an inner lens 18 having a serrate step reflection structure 21 faced obliquely upward on its front face while having a light condensing or diffusing structure 22 such as prisms, etc. on its back face, is provided in parallel in front of the board 15.</p> |
