<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water-base ink excellent in abrasion resistance and writing performance, by mixing a dye and/or a pigment with a specified compound, a water-soluble amine or sodium salt of a carboxylic acid, a water-soluble organic solvent and water. CONSTITUTION:A dye and/or a pigment is mixed with 0.001-1.0wt.%, based on the total ink weight, compound of the formula (wherein n is 5-15, R is a 1-4C alkyl, and X is K, Na or ammonium ion), 0.01-1.5wt.%, based on the total ink weight, water-soluble amine or sodium salt of a 9-20C carboxylic acid (e.g., monoethanolamine salt of myristic acid), a water-soluble organic solvent (e.g., ethylene glycol), water and, optionally, a dispersant, a dispersing aid, an antiseptic, a rust-inhibiting agent, etc.</p> |
