PURPOSE:To obtain an easily portable image observing device, by providing prescribed circuits and a keyboard and a microprocessor which control the device and operating the device with a battery as the power source. CONSTITUTION:When a floppy disk is set to a floppy disk device 5 and an image selecting key 7 is depressed, classifications (directory) of images on the floppy disk are displayed on a liquid crystal display device 4 together with numbers. When a user depresses a key corresponding to the number of a desired image, designated image data (one image) is read out to an image memory 3 of the device and is displayed on the liquid crystal display device 4 as it is. The image memory 3 consists of a CMOS RAM for the purpose of reducing the power consumption. CMOS ICs are used as a CPU, a floppy disk interface, and the other ICs to reduce the power consumption. Thus, the image observing device which can be easily carried by the battery operation is obtained to observe images in an arbitrary place. |
