PURPOSE:To display a converted cursor position on a display device and to reduce the load on an operator by storing the cursor position on the display device in a cursor position storage means, and converting the cursor position into the printing position on a printing form through a converting means. CONSTITUTION:The address of the cursor position sent out of a CPU to an address bus 3 is applied to a CRT controller 1 and an address selector 4 and stored in the register 1a of the controller 1. Display data VD from a data bus 2 is applied to a data selector 7 through the controller 1 and a latch circuit 6. The address from the register 1a is processed by a divider 22 and computing elements 23 and 24 and the result is applied to a printing position memory 20 through a latch circuit 25 to control the memory 20 on the basis of arithmetic results outputted from comparators 27 and 28. Then, printing position data PD from the memory 20 is applied to a selector 7 and the display data VD is processed by a character generator 9 and a P/S conversion register 10 to be converted into the printing position on the printing form. |
