The device comprises, on a base-plate 10, a plurality of housings 12 each intended to receive, by a clicking-in mechanism, a terminal block 13. In each terminal block, a connection strip 50 extends over various connection locations with, over each of these locations, at least one recess for receiving a wire 71, a wire-gripping insert (small plate) 60 and an entraining screw 70. This insert (small plate) is suitable for forcing the wire into the recess, the sides of which are suitable for establishing, by displacement of the insulation, a direct contact with the conducting core of the wire. <IMAGE>
