In the case of filter-frame grids which are to be fitted with filter cells and are intended for use in clean rooms, the profile portions (10) forming the grid are connected to one another by means of two-armed, three-armed or four-armed mounting pieces (20), the end surfaces of the profiles (10) and the end surfaces of the arms (21) of the mounting pieces (20) being pressed against one another, with the interposition of a seal (10.3), with considerable force. This force is produced with the aid of a connection slide (30) which is inserted into the box profile (11), of the profile portion (10), and the connection arms (21) of the mounting piece (20) and is fixed on one side on the box profile (11) or connection arm (21) by means of a first connecting means (31) and whose part which is inserted into the cavity (24.1; 14.1) of the other part, connection stub (21) or box profile (11) is provided with second connecting means (32; 33; 34; 35) and can be displaced in the direction of the axis of the box profile (11) and fixed in the cavity by said connecting means. <IMAGE>
