<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the costs of a light-emitting element part and a lens part, by providing a moving mechanism by which a light-emitting element array and a lens array with the array directions coinciding with the moving direction of a photosensitive body are moved in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A light-emitting diode array 11 comprises 64 light-emitting diodes integrated in an array on the same substrate. At the time of writing a line on a photosensitive drum 13, the light-emitting diode array 11 and a lens array 12 are moved in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the drum 13, with a shaft 15 as a guide. At the time of forming a character, the light-emitting diodes at required positions are driven to emit light while the diode array 11 is moved along the shaft 15, and the character is formed by a combination of the positions of condensing spots 17.</p> |
