PURPOSE:To enable adjustment of printing positions of a plurality of thermal heads, by providing a contact member which projects from one wall member to make contact with a support member and the projection quantity of which can be adjusted, and providing a coil spring for biasing the support member toward the contact member between the other wall member and the support member. CONSTITUTION:A male screw part 20 is engaged with a female screw member 21 making sliding contact with a guide shaft 13, and an end part of the member 21 projects from a wall part 14a. The projection quantity of the female screw member 21 from the wall surface can be adjusted by rotating the member 21 relative to the male screw member 20. A head support member 16 is energized against the female screw member 21 in the direction of an arrow C by a coil spring 18, whereby the position of the member 16 in a sliding direction is fixed, and the position of a thermal head 9 in an auxiliary scanning direction is fixed. Therefore, by adjusting the projection quantity of the female screw member 21 from the wall part 14a, the thermal head 9 can be accurately positioned relative to a base 10. |
