A product of paste-like consistency is sold in a bag (1) which assumes a cylindrical form when full. The product is removed from the bag by placing it inside a close fitting housing (3). The open end of the bag (1) adjoins a cap (4) with a nozzle (6) which is fitted to one end of the housing (3). The other end of the housing (3) is gripped in a handle, fitted with a lever which drives a piston into the housing against the closed end of the bag. The contents of the bag are ejected through the nozzle (6) leaving the axially collapsed bag (1) inside the housing (3). The empty bag can then be removed and replaced with a full one. USE/ADVANTAGE - The bag can be made from a material which is less expensive than the rigid cylindrical containers normally used in this manner.
