A textile thread in motion is treated by a liquid by passing it around part of the grooved periphery of a wheel dipping in the liquid. This wheel has in its groove a number of blind holes which pick up the liquid and transfer it to the thread. ADVANTAGE - This device permits a high running speed and contacts the thread with much more liquid.
