PURPOSE:To fill pieces of bean curd one by one in a pack, by providing a liftable box cutter moving above a bean curd dough and empty pack, controlling opening and closing of an opening and closing valve provided above the box cutter and cutting pieces of the bean curd of a suitable size from the bean curd dough. CONSTITUTION:When bean curd dough 5 on a conveyor 3 is stopped at a given position, a box cutter 10 is lowered to cut out pieces of bean curd of a desired size. Air is then fed from an air feed and discharge port (14a) and a valve part 15 is advanced to close an opening port (14d), air feed and discharge port (14b) and opening and closing valve 13. The box cutter in a state of holding the bean curd therein is then moved above an empty pack 8. The tip of the box cutter is positioned in the pack and air is discharged from the feed and discharge port (14a) to retreat the valve part. The feed and discharge port (14b) and opening port (14d) are opened to jet air from the feed and discharge port (14b). Thereby pieces of bean curd are smoothly transferred and placed on the pack. |
