<p>PURPOSE:To enable a jam to be easily processed by lifting a paper retaining member, retaining a processing part of recording paper, to be moved to a predetermined maximum rising position, when the paper jams, prior to punching processing or binding processing. CONSTITUTION:When punching or binding is processed by a processing unit 45 in a copying paper processing device 1, copying finished transfer paper F, supplied from a copying device 2, is discharged onto a stacker 43 through a route selector gate 42 switched to a face up position. When the final page transfer paper, forming one part of a number of sheets, is discharged, prior to processing of punching or binding, a motor M5 is driven rotating 180 deg. an eccentric cam 83, and a loaded copying paper group F is retained by a paper retaining bar 80 under its own weight, being processed and discharged onto a storage tray 46. Here in the generation of a paper jam, the driving motor M5 is rotated 180 deg. lifting the paper retaining bar 80 to the uppermost position to be stopped, and the jam is processed by drawing out the processing unit 45. In this way, the jam can be easily processed.</p> |
