The invention relates to a device for feeding a tyre tread which has a groove of triangular cross-section, within a tyre-building system, consisting predominantly of a multiplicity of spherical support rollers and a number of double-conical guide rollers which engage in the tread groove. To reduce the distortion of the tread, it is proposed to arrange cylindrical counter rollers opposite the guide rollers.
