A tooth brush for simultaneously cleaning both sides of at least one row of teeth has at least two bristle holders (3) and bristles (6) that during use extend toward each other, resp. from both sides, against a row of teeth (10), and that deviate from the bristle holder (3) away form the perpendicular in the direction of the gums (11) by an angle between 1 DEG and 10 DEG . During use, the bristles (6d, 6c, 6b, 6a) are softer resp. longer as they extend away from the cutting or grinding zones (10a) of the teeth and approach the gums (11). During use, the ground plan of the bristle holder (3) is not wider than two teeth (10), preferably at the maximum as wide as one and a half teeth, especially not wider than a (for example molar) tooth. |
