Slalom pole

A slalom pole is described, having a disc-shaped anchoring member in the region of its lower end. By simple twisting of the slalom pole about its axis, the anchoring member is brought out of its ineffective position into the effective position, it being possible for the anchoring member to be rotated about an axis which extends parallel and eccentrically to the axis of the slalom pole. The invention is particularly characterised by a simple construction and ease of operation, combined with a very secure anchoring of the slalom pole in the underlying snow, ice or the like.
