PURPOSE:To produce the titled magnet having high magnetic anisotropy by letting a rare earth-transition metal-B crystallized alloy occlude hydrogen and thereafter subjecting it to heat treatment in the specific temp. range. CONSTITUTION:The R-T-M crystallized alloy (R denotes rare earth elements, T denotes transition metallic elements contg. Fe as essential components and may contain one or more kinds among Zr, Nb, Ti, V, Hf and Ta and M denotes semimetals contg. B as essential components) is ground. Hydrogen is occluded into said alloy, and after that, it is subjected to a heat treatment in the temp. range of 500-900 deg.C in a vacuum or inner gas, etc. R is preferably incorporated thereto in about 5.5-12at.% based on the total amount of said alloy. By this method, the rare earth magnet having high anisotropy and high magnetic characteristics can be obtd. |
