PURPOSE:To maintain the prescribed toner concentration by providing the second partition plate which is installed so as to form a toner passage by dividing a sub- developer storing part and a toner chamber, and executes a vibrating motion, and a stirring means for mixing and stirring a stand-by developer in the sub-developer storing part. CONSTITUTION:Since a stand-by developer 36 contains a magnetic carrier, it is influenced by a magnetic field generated by a magnetic field generating means provided on a developer supporting means, and can be supplied quickly to a developer storing part 34, and also, shows a more satisfactory powder characteristic than the time of a toner simple substance, and even against a variation of the environment, a stable developer can be generated. Also, in a sub-developer storing part 38, the stand-by developer is mixed and stirred by a stirring blade 40, therefore, the powder characteristic of the stand-by developer is further improved, and a frictional electrification of a toner is also executed actively. Moreover, the second partitioning means 44 executes a vibrating motion, its vibration is transferred to the toner in a toner chamber, the powder characteristic of the toner is held in a satisfactory state, and when the toner is replenished to the sub-developer storing part 38 from the toner chamber, such inconveniences as the toner is condensed and cannot be supplied, etc. are prevented. |
