<p>PURPOSE:To prevent dielectric breakdown, by arranging an air-trap for catching foam intruded into an oil supply piping at a portion of the oil supply piping, e.g. end of a power cable or an intermediate joint. CONSTITUTION:An air-trap 9 is bent and arranged as an oil path 4a through which foam moves in reverse direction from floating direction. When a portion of an oil supply piping 6 is damaged, insulating oil in the oil supply piping 6 is discharged sequentially through inner pressure then substituted sequentially with intruded air and the insulating oil in the entire oil supply piping 6 is finally substituted with air except the air-trap portion. Substituted air can not enter the reversely directed oil path 4a but forms an insulating oil face 71 to provide an air sump thus being trapped.</p> |
