PURPOSE:To prevent a cross current, to suppress a starting current and to control torque characteristic by forming a rotor core corresponding to a space between a first rotor and a second rotor in an air core. CONSTITUTION:A rotor conductor 5 is commonly provided at first and second rotor cores 18A, 18B, and the ends of the two cores are short-circuited at end rings 6. The cores have lengths corresponding to the stators 7A, 7B, and a space E is formed between the cores. Since the space E does not perform a role of a high resistance end ring, it can prevent the generation of a cross current. |
