PRODUCTION OF TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To maintain a stable polymn. system by adding a monomer layer formed by making combination use of specific cane sugar fatty acid ester and peroxide and dispersing a coloring agent uniformly therein into a water layer in which an alginic acid suspension stabilizer is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:The alginic acid suspension stabilizer is used at the time of using the cane sugar fatty acid ester and peroxide having 0.5-7 hydrophilic/ lipophilic balance (HLB) in combination in a monomer, dispersing a carbon black as the coloring agent uniformly into the monomer and suspending the monomer layer in the water layer. The cane sugar fatty acid ester to be used is cane sugar stearate and the amt. of said ester to be used is 0.3-3pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. monomer. The stable polymn. is thereby executed without flocculating the monomer particles.
