PURPOSE:To make it possible to make a fine line of a superconductive com pound long size body without wire drawing process by coating superconductive manifesting raw materials on the surface of a preheated metallic long size body which is made to travel, and then winding the body to a roll to conduct heat treating. CONSTITUTION:A core wire (for instance, Cu wire) 1 delivered from a delivering reel 2 reaches to a winding reel 4 rounding intermediate rolls 5 3 5 in the order, and preheating Cu wire 1 is conducted because a heater is incorporated in the reel 2. Raw material substances (for instance, Y2O3, BaCO3, Cu) for manu facturing oxide superconductor have been housed separately in hearth liners 20-22, an electron beam generated with an ionization filament 9 is made to be irradiated in the inside of hearth liners 20-22, and raw material substances are made to be vaporized. Atoms and molecules vaporized are charged with an ionization electrode 7, and evaporated to the surface of tbe wire 1 under a given oxygen partial pressure atmosphere. This makes it possible to obtain an oxide superconductive compound long size body having a desired diameter, thickness, and width without wire drawing process. |
