PURPOSE:To flatten the flaw on the surface protecting layer of an optical recording support simply and in a short time by fitting a polishing member at a part of a repairing tool. CONSTITUTION:A repairing tool for an optical recording support is equipped with a bar main body 1 having the hollow part of a cavity in the center and abrasives 2 such as sandpaper is fitted at one edge. At other edge of the main body 1, a pad 3 for polishing synthetic resin is housed, at the hollow part, a polishing solution 4 for synthetic resin is housed and for the polishing solution 4, the suspension of alumina is used. When the flaw inflicted to the surface protecting layer of the optical card is repaired, first, after polishing is executed with the abrasives 2 until the unevenness of the flaw cannot be found, the devitrification is removed by the pad 3 for the polishing and the polishing solution 4, and then, the flaw can be flattened simply and in a short time. |
