The invention relates to a stackable storage and transport container having a box-shaped housing which has side walls and a bottom plate. In order also to be able to use such containers for receiving hot products (red hot machine parts), the side walls and the bottom plate are of dual-walled construction. In this case, the wall parts of the dual wall have openings through which air can flow in the manner of a chimney for cooling.
