<p>PURPOSE:To enhance reliability by counting the number of conveyors detected by a conveyor presence detecting sensor provided near a stator, and applying an allowance of switching of a branch unit according to the coincidence of counted value with the number of all the conveyors. CONSTITUTION:A secondary conductor 25 is provided on a linear motor conveyor 24, and a stator 22 is provided on a linear motor conveying passage 21. A linear motor conveyance controller 26 applies a travel control command to the stator 22, and applies a switching command to a branch unit 27 of the passage 21. At this time, the presence of the conveyor 24 is detected by a conveyor presence detecting sensor 33 provided near the stator 22, and the number of the conveyor 24 is counted by a counter 32. A number detector 34 applies an allowance of switching the unit 27 when the counted value coincides with the number of all the conveyors stored in memory means 33.</p> |
