PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive and efficient light transmission means by covering a part or the whole of the outside circumference of a clad material with a hygroscopic material and covering said material further with a low moisture permeable material. CONSTITUTION:The clad material 1 constitutes a flexible hollow tubular body. This hollow tubular body 1 holds a liquid core material 2 and the material for said body is exemplified by plastic and elastomers. Inorg. desiccating materials such as metal aluminum, metal calcium and sodium sulfate and water absorptive polymers are usable straightly for the hygroscopic material 4. The low moisture permeable material 5 is needed to decrease the speed at which the external moisture infiltrates to the hose and is not always required to be a connected tubular material. For example, the outside circumference of the tubular body is covered with a water absorptive sheet and is then tied up by a vinylidene fluoride bag having 40mu thickness and 30mm width. No abnormality is admitted after such body is rested for 2 months in a wet and hot oven. |
