PURPOSE:To improve the detecting accuracy of temperature and to precisely detect the temperature of a photosensitive body by bringing said body into contact with a temperature detecting means directly. CONSTITUTION:The temperature detecting unit 31 of the photosensitive body 10 is constituted of a thermal resistance element 34, a sponge 35 as a buffer material, a tape 36, a substrate 37 and a lead wire 38, and said unit 31 is directly passed against the photosensitive body 10 by means of a leaf spring 33. The sponge 35 prevents the thermal diffusion of a thermal surface, and the tape 36 serves for cleaning the element, which prevents toner adhesion, and for preventing the element 34 from projecting. By such direct contact, there is no air insulating layer in the photosensitive body 10 to enhance heat conduction, which results in improvement in temperature detection. The temperature of the photosensitive body is precisely detected to perform prescribed control. |
