PURPOSE:To suppress the impact due to the sharp switching by preventing the switching between advance and retreat when the car speed over a certain value which is set previously is detected by a car speed sensor. CONSTITUTION:When an advance switch 3 is pressing-operated, a speed change transmission mechanism 10 is put to the advance side through a control part 6 and a solenoid valve 11. When a selected speed change switch 1 is pressing- operated, the speed change transmission mechanism 10 is set to the selected speed change position through the control part 6 and the solenoid valve 11, and a car body advances at the selected car speed. If a retreat switch 4 is operated when the car speed in a certain value set by a car speed sensor 5 is detected, the car body is switched to retreat from advance. When the car speed sensor 5 detects the car speed over a certain value, the switching to retreat is made impossible even if the retreat switch 4 is operated, and the car body maintains the advance traveling, and the car body is stopped by operating a neutral switch 2.
