The invention concerns an assembly set based on modular units using all conventional building materials or other materials tested to comply with the requirements of the building industry. The modular units are incorporated in different types of construction whether it be premises to be used as dwellings, for industrial use, for commercial use, or cultural or leisure premises. These different types of construction can be developed at ground level or at height. The assembly systems used allow great opportunities for the modification of existing areas. Moreover, the vertical and horizontal assembly systems can absorb the influences of natural disasters (typhoons, earthquakes, etc.) and vibrations in the ground (passing of lorries, trains, etc.). The vertical assembly system is subjected to a system of antiparasite disinfection to protect the materials and assists in fire protection. <IMAGE>
