Adjustable tubular strut support for concrete - has plate with wedge as stop for inner tube sliding in outer tube

Strut is esp. of the type used to support concrete structures, providing adjustment for height compensation. There is an inner tube (1), able to slide in an outer tube (2), with an arrester device fitted to the top end of the latter. this consists of a piece of sheet metal (3), or similar, partially surrounding the inner tube, and a connecting wedge (4, 5). Whn the wedge is knocked in it presses firmly against the inner tube. The sheet plate may be roughened on the inside, and may be welded onto the outer tube.
