Transient recorder which digitises fast signal sequences and stores them temporarily in a RAM

The invention describes a transient recorder, in which the memory is addressed via a fast synchronising counter which can be loaded in parallel. For recording data, i.e. for storing signals, the counter generates the addresses. For reading data, i.e. access to the data by the microprocessor, the address bus of the microprocessor is switched to the memory via the parallel loading function of the counter. The higher-value addresses are then passed on via a port, so that the memory area is extended.
