<p>The thermal contact includes a wax thermostat (1) whose piston (2), longitudinally guided in translation relative to the body (3), acts by pushing, via a single helical spring (4) working in compression, on a cap (5) retaining and centring one of the ends of this spring (4) and engaged in the central hole (6) of a snap disc (7) which, when unstressed, offers its convexity towards the piston (2), the said hole (6) being centred on the geometrical axis (X-X) of the piston (2) and of the spring (4), and the abovementioned body (3) being provided with stop means (11) for limiting the expansion stroke of the spring (4) when the wax (9) is cooled.
