PURPOSE:To exactly record and to faithfully reproduce by timely changing a laser beam output, recording specific signals, and selecting the laser beam output to be able to obtain an optimum reproducing signal when these recording signals are reproduced. CONSTITUTION:When data are recorded in an optical magnetic disk 1, a specific signals for testing are recorded at the specific place (test area) 16 of this disk 1 by timely changing a laser beam output, the laser optical output at the time of the data recording is set by an optical output control circuit to self-learn the laser optical output from which an optimum reproducing signal can be obtained upon reproducing and to select, and recorded in the disk 1 with the use of the set optical output. Thus, an exact recording can be executed to the magneto optical disk of a different kind. |
