PURPOSE:To obtain a heating element with high strength and little decomposition and deterioration due to the volatilization of Sb and form the firm connection by specifying the composition of SnO2, Sb2O5, and SiO2. CONSTITUTION:SiO2 5-30wt.% is added to a mixture made of SnO2 75-98wt.% and Sb2O5 2-25wt.%. The mixture made of SnO2 75-98wt.% and Sb2O5 2-25wt.% is temporarily fired at 1100-1300 deg.C, this material is crushed, then SiO2 5-30wt.% is combined with it and fired at 1100-1300 deg.C. A resistance heating element thus obtained has high strength and the firm connection to a substrate and no material change due to the volatilization of Sb while in use and is excellent in stability. When a heater is constituted of this heating element, the stability and durability of the heater function can be improved. |
