The invention relates to a tree grid having an integrated irrigation and ventilation device and stop securing means for a tree-securing means. In order to avoid subsidence directly beside the tree grid and to protect the slopes of the planting ditch, there may additionally be provided, depending on the established stability of the ground and the diameter and depth of the planting ditch, in-situ-concrete slabs which are integrated into the prefabricated reinforced-concrete compound unit of the tree grid. Arranged on the outer surface of the prefabricated reinforced-concrete compound unit of the tree grid is the irrigation-control device which forms the receiving means for a valve, by means of which the water inflow can be regulated. A plurality of tree grids, which are in connection with a central water-supply means, can be supplied together or separately, depending on the water requirement. As far as new plants are concerned, the tree grids are usually laid as single-part structural units, comprising a prefabricated reinforced-concrete compound unit with a surface covering, preferably hard stone paving, before the plants are planted. The tree-securing means itself can be mounted and re-used (Figure 1). In the case of existing plants, the tree grid is preferably configured in two parts. <IMAGE>
